Symptomatic complications of percutaneous needle biopsy of the liver are uncommon, however, they are occasionally demonstrated on postbiopsy angiograms. Angiographic findings include needle tracts, arteriovenous fistulas, hematoma, and aneurysms and pseudoaneurysms. These complications were not serious and except for hematoma required no further treatment.
