Abstract magnified image A simple and highly efficient procedure for the Biginelli condensation reaction of aldehydes, β‐ketoesters, urea, or thiourea catalyzed by Ceric ammonium nitrate (CAN) as a Lewis‐acid at ambient temperature is described.
