The Curie–Weiss Law is generalized to take into account differences among lattices, spin values, and range of exchange interactions. Several forms of the generalization are given for the purpose of facilitating the abstraction of magnetic moments from susceptibility data. A parameter γp is introduced that describes exactly the behavior in the high temperature limit and correlates well with the behavior nearer to the critical temperature.
