In this research the effects of synthesis method and CeO 2 and ZrO 2 promoters were studied in the steam reforming of methanol over a CuO/ZnO/Al 2 O 3 nanocatalyst. Addition of ZrO 2 and CeO 2 reduces CO selectivity, while CeO 2 is more effective.
