Two polycarbazoles with tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) as pendant group were synthesized first by Yamamoto coupling reaction using Ni(1,5-cyclooctadiene) 2 (Ni(COD) 2 ) as the catalyst. The structures of the polymers and their intermediates were characterized by 1 H NMR, 13 C NMR, MS, GPC, UV−vis, and IR. The electrochemical behaviors of the polymers were characterized by cyclic voltammetry. These polymers exhibit higher conductivity up to about 0.1 S cm -1 .
