Optic Atrophy-Hereditary (Leber's) Although previous mention has been made of this disease in the literature, it was first described in detail with pedigrees, by Leber in 1871, since when considerable research has been done in many countries. Consequently Julia Bell was able in 1931 to publish 237 pedigrees, two of which were recorded by Hogg from Tasmania, and are included-with his permission-with my pedigrees. To Hogg's two pedigrees I am able to add one com- plete (No. 31) and one very incomplete one (No. 32) of my own.
