Abstract 1‐[(Trifluoromethyl)thio]isoquinolines can be assembled through silver(I)‐catalyzed reaction of 2‐alkynylbenzaldoxime with silver (trifluoromethyl)thiolate in the presence of p‐methoxybenzenesulfonyl chloride. The (trifluoromethyl)thio moiety (SCF3) could be easily introduced into the scaffold of isoquinoline under mild conditions.
