Skills by them selves are the outward and complicated expression of motor coordination as of any one period in the life of the individual. Skill tests, when used to measure fundamental movements of walking, running, jumping, climbing, dodging, swimming, handling simple tools, and using pieces of equipment, represent measurement of processes vital to life.
