To the Editor. —In the May 1987 issue ofArchives, Schwartzman and McLellan1provided an excellent review of the entity Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy. I do have a major means of contention with their diagnostic test. At no time do they mention the use of thermography. Thermography2is the best diagnostic instrument beyond the physical examination in the evaluation of the disorder and its treatment.
