The magnetic field in an eddy-current type A.C. high magnetic field generator is numerically analyzed in order to improve the flux concentration effect by employing the boundary element method and finite element method. The effect of the construction and size of the copper plate on the magnetic field intensity concentrated by eddy currents is investigated. By this analysis, the best construction for the model used in the analysis is clarified.
