A copper(I) complex, NH4[Cu(H2CAC)2] (1) (H3CAC = cyanuric acid) has been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction , IR spectroscopic, and thermogravimetric analyses. Complex 1 features an 3D framework incorporating 2D polyanionic brick‐wall like plane [Cu(H₂CAC)₂]ⁿ⁻ₙ which are held together by NH4+ cations through hydrogen‐bonding interactions. Complex 1 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Fddd with the cell parameters a = 36.729(2), b = 12.5829(8), c = 9.3590(7) Å, V = 4325.3(5) Å3, Z = 16.
