The copper(I)-catalyzed reaction of isolated Tb@C82 with aryldiazoacetates to highly functionalized endohedral metallofullerenes is first reported. The synthesized wine-red multiadducts of Tb@C82 were characterized by MALID-TOF MS, FTIR, XPS, and UV/Vis/NIR.
