What's already known about this topic? With rapid introduction of cell‐free DNA (cf‐DNA) as non‐invasive prenatal genetic screening, there is concern around routinization of testing. Research into informed choice for cf‐DNA is just starting to emerge in Europe. What does this study add? With adequate pretest counseling, 80% of women made informed choice for cf‐DNA from this first study in Asia. Value‐inconsistency is prevalent among cf‐DNA decliners, leading to a much higher rate of uninformed choice than in cf‐DNA acceptors.
