A device to study the molecular association of the α‐helix from the two sets of information in the dielectric dispersion curve; that is, specific polarization P2° and critical frequency v0, is proposed. The P2° is plotted against log v0 for each solution of associated helix. Comparing these plots with that of the perfect helix, the process of association is considered. The model in which side‐by‐side random orientation and head‐to‐tail types are superposed is suggested as the most probable association of the PBLG α‐helix in the dioxane—dimethylformamide mixed solvent.
