The viscosities of model porcelains based on the Weinstein patent on dental porcelain were determined using the bending beam method of Hagy. Two formulations (components one and three of the patent) were obtained from a production size sample and mixed to give blends of the two components in 10% increments by weight. The viscosity values were obtained over the range of 10 8 to 10 12 Pa·s. The porcelains displayed Newtonian behavior with respect to load, and viscosity varied according to the rule of composition fractions between the viscosity values of components one and three.
