A high resolution x-ray video camera has been developed for Synchrotron radiation x-ray microimaging applications. The image from an x-ray converter screen is optically coupled to a charge coupled device. A linespread function of 10 μm full width at half-maximum has been observed. This concept may be extended to the resolution range of 1–100 μm.
