All-solid-state cable-type supercapacitors with ultrahigh rate capability were realized by utilizing self-doped TiO2 nanotubes grown on titanium wire via an in situ process. The fabricated all-solid-state cable-type supercapacitors can work very effectively even at an ultrahigh scan rate of 200 V s–1, which indicates the ultrafast charge-storage capability of the device.
