Indirect two‐dimensional (X, M) (X = 1H, 31P) triple resonance spectroscopy is presented for the detection of the NMR parameters of insensitive metal nuclei M = 57Fe, 103Rh, 183W and 61Ni which exhibit a scalar coupling to the more sensitive X nucleus. The versatlity of this approach is demonstrated and compared with the previously used detection schemes by recording δ(M) and J(M, X) for a series of organometallic phosphorus tungsten(IV), rhodium(I), iron(0), iron(II) and nickel(0) complexes. The NMR data of the complexes are discussed.
