We report on the complete analysis of the 1H‐n.m.r. spectrum at 300 MHz of α‐, and β‐L‐arabinopyranose in D2O. Increment rules as derived previously for aldohexapyranoses and 2‐deoxy‐aldopyranoses are extended to aldopentapyranoses and β‐D‐ketohexapyranoses.
