Molecular dynamics simulation of hard-disc mixtures

Self-diffusion coefficients D 1 and D 2, determined by molecular dynamics simulation, are reported for binary mixtures of hard discs. While the absolute values of D 1 and D 2 show substantial deviations from the modified Enskog theory, especially at high density, the ratio D 1/D 2 is in much better agreement with the simple model.
