Interaction-induced Raman and Rayleigh spectra of CO2 at four points along the liquid-vapour coexistence curve are reported. The lineshapes of these spectra are analysed with a theory developed for liquid CS2. On the whole the spectra are well described, though significant shortcomings are noted.
