A simple calculation from first principles is made for the effect of electron mean free path on the phonon-induced electron-electron coupling in electronically isotropic superconductors. It is shown how the related shift in the critical temperature can be found. For tin alloys, this shift can be compared with that found previously by a different method, and the agreement is good, in spite of the simplicity of the model.
