The pyroelectric charge of monoclinic RbD 2 PO 4 along the b axis was measured through the lower transition temperature at 44°C ( T II ) and the D - E hysteresis curves were examined below T II . The D - E triple hysteresis loops were observed below T II , corresponding to the development of a small pyroelectric charge below T II . It is clarified that the crystal is ferrielectric below T II with a small net polarization, 0.02 µC/cm 2 , compared with the spontaneous polarization of the sublattice, 1.8 µC/cm 2 , at 30°C.
