Summary Bacteriophage PL25 was purified by centrifugation in caesium chloride. It has S°20,w = 485; D°20,w = 0.68 × 10−7 cm.2/sec. and m.w. = 54.3 × 106. An equation was derived relating S°20,w and molecular weight of bacteriophages.
