Anticoccidial drugs were fed to laying hens for a period of one week. Transfer of drug to the eggs laid by these hens was demonstrated by challenge of the embryos with E. tenella. Maternal transfer of lasalocid, robenidine, and halofuginone occurred. Little or no transfer occurred with arprinocid or monensin.
