A multifunctional Zr( iv )-based metal–organic framework for highly efficient elimination of Cr( vi ) from the aqueous phase

An ultra-stable, multifunctional Zr-MOF material with the AIE effect has been successfully prepared, which can highly capture, selectively detect and photo-reduce Cr 2 O 7 2− in aqueous. It can be a promising candidate for efficiently eliminating Cr( vi ).
