Enhanced‐fluidity liquid mobile phases (methanol/H2O/CO2) were used as eluents in reversed‐phase HPLC. The low pressure drop across the column allowed serial connection of micro‐scale columns to achieve the efficient separation of a coal tar sample. Other applications such as the separation of fat soluble vitamins and probucol and related compounds are shown.
