A further note on horizontal dispersion from an instantaneous ground source

This paper is written as a sequel to a previous note by Gee and Davies (1963), where it was shown that the introduction of a shearing advection term into the diffusion equation is significantn for an instantaneous source of the type discussed by Saffman (1962). A second additional term, suggested by Matsuoka (1961), has been introduced into the diffusion equation and the analysis shows that this term also has a significant effect on the properties of the cloud.
