In applying the quadratic form π/c = (π/c)0[1 + Γ2c + Γ3c2] to osmotic pressure of dilute polymer solutions, the use of a third coefficient (Γ3), which is related semitheoreti‐cally to the second (Γ2), is to be recommended over the use of unrestricted coefficients, both from the standpoint of expediency and of accuracy in the values so obtained for the intercept (π/c)0. and the initial slope (π/c)0Γ2.
