Objective of the Review: To analyze levels of cytokines measurement as potential method for early detection of cervical dysplasia progression. Key points. The authors analyzed abstracts and full-text articles published in Pubmed, UpToDate, Embase and Cochrane Library in for the period from 1999 to 2022. Detection of cytokines in different biological fluids have been already used widespread as additional prognostic factor for malignances of different localization. Expression and co-expression levels of cytokines in cervical mucus could be also useful for early detection of potentially dangerous forms of dysplasia with high-risk transformation in cancer. This method in combination with other molecular genetic testing will decrease the percent of advanced cervical cancer. Conclusion. Measurement of levels of cytokines in cervical mucus with proven dysplasia could be used as additional diagnostic method for prognosis assessment and choosing of treatment tactic.
