The idea has been propogated that grenz radiation does not produce any neoplastic sequelae and the feeling has grown that grenz rays are free of harmful late effects. In this particular case, the evidence warrants the conclusion that large doses of grenz rays produced the chronic radio dermatitis, a squamous cell carcinoma, and keratoses. It is hoped that grenz rays will in the future be applied with a caution similar to that used in the application of x-rays.
