Sir, I read with interest the paper by Dr Khan 1 in the August 2007 issue entitled, 'Outcome of single-event multilevel surgery in untreated cerebral palsy in a developing country'. I would like to congratulate him for his study showing spastic diplegic children who presented late and not walking, and who were then able to walk after surgery and rehabilitation. However, the ages of the children were not listed in Table Did the age of the children affect their subsequent ability to walk? Were the exercise walkers older compared with the community walkers?
