An antibody found in the sera of several unrelated individuals defines a new high‐frequency antigenic determinant, Kna (Knops‐Helgeson). If Kn(a—) arises from the homozygous state of, as of now, amorphic genes, Kn/Kn, the Kn locus is not closely linked to the loci for ABO, MNSs, Rh, Lu, Jk, and Se.
