Abstract (1) The factors influencing the toxicity of a physically‐toxic organic compound in different biological tests are discussed. (2) Toxic concentrations in aqueous solutions for 26 sets of biological experiments have been collected from the literature, arranged under the names of the 269 compounds listed in alphabetical order, and compared with the toxic concentrations calculated by means of the equation previously given (see Part 11).
