Background: Biomimetic peptides are synthetic agonists of naturally occurring growth factors and completely mimics the action of the parental molecules. They offer a great opportunity in cosmetic and dermatological applications. Since on the marketplace there are many biomimetic peptides and product containing them in association, but, unfortunately, only few peptides have strong scientifically published evidence about their own claim, we investigated the effect of a mix of octapeptide-2 (0.05%), copper tripeptide-1 (0.05%), oligopeptide-20 (0.5%), acetyl decapeptide-3 (0.5%) (mix of peptides: MGF) in human hair follicle (HFs) from AGA subjects.
