An experimental study of the I-V characteristics of some silicon photovoltaic cells as a function of temperature and illumination allows one to discuss the two-diode model. The variations of the two reverse saturation currents lead to the determination of the activation energies. Their dependencies on the illumination level allow one to discuss the mechanisms of charge transport.
