Abstract

The first ruthenium(II) 1,2,3-trimethylindenyl complexes have been prepared, including allenylidene, alkynyl, and alkenylcarbene derivatives. The X-ray crystal structure of [Ru( C C CPh 2 )(η 5 -1,2,3-Me 3 C 9 H 4 )(CO)(PPh 3 )] [BF 4 ] is described.
