Abstract

The reversible reaction[W(η-C5H5)2(PR3)CD3]+⇌[W(η-C5H5)2(CD2PR3)D]+ and related reactions are described; it is proposed that they proceed via a reversible equilibrium W–CH3⇌ W(CH2)H.
