Essential oils isolated by steam distillation from the fresh and dry flowers of Lavandula latifolia Medik were analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Among the 41 compounds identified, the major components were linalool (31.9%, 30.6%), 1,8-cineole (18.8%, 20.9%) and borneol (10.1%, 8.9%), respectively.
