Statistical thermodynamics theory, based on the cell/hole model, provides an excellent description of liquid properties in the full range of reduced variables {article}{empty}{document}P. T. V{document} . In addition, the theory provides the occupied site fraction y as a function of these reduced variables. This paper examines the relation between the temperature and pressure dependent liquid viscosity and the parameter y. Properties of n‐paraffins are discussed.
