Structural characterization and magnetic properties of undoped and copper-doped cobalt ferrite nanoparticles prepared by the octanoate coprecipitation route at very low dopant concentrations

), obtained from magnetic hysteresis loops measured at room temperature, are in agreement with this mixed spinel structure and also indicate that these materials are ferromagnetic and could be good candidates for applications in biomedicine and in microwave devices.
