We study the propagation of an electromagnetic wave in an isotropic damped ferromagnetic medium with free charges. When the magnitude of the damping is small the excitations of magnetization of the medium and the magnetic induction and magnetic field of the electromagnetic wave are governed by solitons. When the damping increases the electromagnetic solitons decelerate and the shape distorts at one end. Also the electromagnetic soliton gets damped as time progresses.
