Illegal Structures in Russia

Legends of the Russian mafia's activities are rife. But what is it in reality? The author attempts in this article to analyze some of the ways in which illegal structures appear, their stages of development, and their economic and political interests, on the basis of results of investigations and articles published in the domestic press.
