Six at one blow! The creation of small oligosaccharide libraries was achieved by a new strategy of random glycosylation of nonprotected sugars. With tri‐O‐benzyl‐L‐fucopyranosyl trichloroacetimidate as donor and βGal(1 → n)βGlcNAcOR (n = 3, 4, 6; R = (CH2)8OC6H4‐p‐OMe) as acceptors, all six trisaccharides form in DMF in roughly equal quantities. It is astounding that all free OH groups are fucosylated at a similar rate.
