The magnetic susceptibilities of molten Pb–Te alloys have been measured as a function of concentration and temperature. Curves of the isothermal susceptibilities show a rather large deviation from the linearly interpolated ones at the composition near Pb 50 Te 50 . From these results, a convenient criterion on the electron localization in liquid semiconductors is discussed.
