Salmonella infections are reported to be widespread in the United States (3) and have been diagnosed repeatedly in certain turkey flocks in Wisconsin (1,2). Incriminated as sources of some poultry infection have been feeds (4,7) and wild animals which enter the poultry houses and yards (6). This report concerns a search for reservoirs of Salmonella on a Wisconsin turkey farm which had a history of repeated cases of infection with S. typhimurium and S. chester.
