Several octahydroindolizines including the four geometrical isomers of 3‐butyl‐5‐methyloctahydroindolizine, which is an attractant of Pharaoh's and [Monomorium pharaonis(L.)], have been examined by 1H and 13C nmr spectroscopy. The conformations of these compounds are discussed.
