CO 2 /CO separation is challenging. Here we report high-flux MFI membranes for effective CO 2 removal from CO by selective CO 2 adsorption in the MFI. On top, diffusional coupling at high CO 2 loadings reduce the CO transport favouring CO 2 /CO selectivity.
