Theoretical analysis reveals a geometric resolution to ultraviolet divergence in six-dimensional spacetime, suggesting a natural physical cutoff via non-linear actions and topological limits.
This paper explores a potential geometric resolution to the ultraviolet (UV) divergence problem encountered when introducing higher-derivative terms into a 6D SO(3,3) multi-time spacetime framework. While standard Quantum Field Theory (QFT) has achieved unparalleled success in describing the microscopic universe, applying its unbounded integration methods to non-linear geometric constraints often leads to non-renormalizability. By positing that all kinematic dynamics originate from the phase flow of a global constraint field, we suggest that virtual particles—interpreted here as transient geometric tensions—must inherently obey the same macroscopic topological limits (the Wunderlich limit, v_tau = 1/sqrt(3)). To formalize this, we propose an integrated Master Lagrangian that harmonizes a Born-Infeld-type non-linear action with Topological Field Theory (TFT), offering a natural physical cutoff where kinematic divergence transitions gracefully into topological surgery.
