Comparative metagenomic analysis reveals habitat-specific microbial variations across agricultural, urban, and rural soils, suggesting targeted indigenous bacterial interventions improve soil health.
In this project, three typical habitat soils, including vineyard soil, urban park soil and rural natural soil, were selected as research objects. Two technical approaches, namely ciliate culture and microscopic observation as well as high-throughput metagenomic sequencing, were adopted to systematically verify the intrinsic correlation between soil microorganisms and soil health status. Indigenous bacterial agents were extracted and prepared from vineyard soil, and their potential for soil quality improvement was further explored based on existing literature and relevant research findings. Meanwhile, a customized 3D-printed device was applied to visually present the experimental results. In addition, collected soil characteristic signals were sonified into recognizable audible audio. On this basis, this study achieves a multidimensional analysis of the structural differences in soil microbial communities and comprehensively discusses their practical application prospects in soil ecological improvement.
